We are happy to introduce these new textbooks, prepared in
the light of the Competency Based Syllabus, Sanctioned by
GCERT, Gandhinagar. It is aimed at making learning joyful
and activity oriented. Our authors have taken great pains
in preparing this textbook and ride to ensure that
learning becomes borderless, interesting and joyful. The
manuscript of the textbook was modified in the light of
the suggestions made by a panel of reviewers comprising practicing
primary teachers, college teachers and experts from state
Resource Group.
A separate Teacher's Book is published along with these
textbooks to provide detailed guidelines for the use of
this book in classrooms. We hope that teachers would make
utmost use of the Teacher's Book in bringing about all
round development of children and thereby make this new
venture successful. |
